The first words that comes to your mind when you hear Inspiration, Passion, and Strength

Who are you? (Answer how you interpret this question)

I am who I am, I don’t identify or see myself as exclusive with any one particular group of people or ideals.

Why do you do what you do?

I do what I do because I love it

When did you know this is what you wanted to do, and what events led you to choose it?

I’ve had a passion for music in general throughout my life. In elementary I would write poetry because I enjoyed word play. Eventually that develeped into writing verses and a love for hip-hop music. I’ve had a chance to try a variety of different things in terms of hobbies and passtime but the love for words and rythm just stuck so if figured, go with your gut.

Toughest thing you had to overcome to do what you do? And what/who helped you?

The toughest challenge I’ve had to face is lack of faith. Whether it be doubt from peers or myself . The ability to really believe that this is something you can pursue beyond a hobby is itself a gift and convincing others of that plays a large role in whether you’ll succeed. I think if its real you will continue no matter what but having atleast one person who you know truly thinks you’ll see that day of triumph does not only provide a huge confidence boost but your first fan, which is awesome.

Has anyone/anything ever inspired you to become who you are (to follow your dreams)? Have you ever inspired anyone directly?

I take advantage of the lives others have lived. I find that listening and understanding someone elses personal experiences can be almost as beneficical as if you had gone through the situation yourself. With that in mind I draw inspiration from all around me and not always from posotive sources. Sometimes learning what not to do is just as important as learning what to do. I don’t idolize anyone but I do look to certain people as proof for my own beliefs and actions, especially when I feel my wants and hopes are too ambition. I look to others who have dreamed bigger or thought crazier and remind myself that its not only possible but worth while as well.

One mistake that you made in your journey? How have you learnt from them?

One mistake I’ve made is not being prepared. In terms of  music and art as a career, the life changing moments don’t come with a warning. No one can tell you which song will be a hit, which show you should perform, which contacts you should stay in touch with, it’s a gamble, unlike other work where you can likely anticipate the next step and survive for the most part by relying on your own abilities, in a musicians world, that is only partially the criteria. A musicians field is one which not only demands highly skilled ability but  along with it a blind, against all odds faith, luck and educated guesses. You power through doubt and in some cases despair in hopes that one day an obscure, sudden and sometime hidden moment occurs which launches you to the next step in your career. If you are not ready for that oppurtunity when it presents itself you may never get another chance and you may not realize you had the chance until it’s too late.

Upcoming projects? Plans/goal? (about anything, if you have any)

Presently, I’m working with my city’s local label South Grouse Productions on finishing my first EP. Until this point releases have consisted of popular remixes and the odd originally produced single. This will give people a chance to have a full length project from myself.

What advice would you give to other people? (Just about life in general - It could be about anything)

Be yourself, be a free thinker, cliche but for a reason. The only thing you’re stuck with for life is yourself. Not friends, not work, not reputation, not even family, then you die. When that happens there is no do over but there are also no regrets, life is something to be experienced in as many ways possible and the only thing I know is no one knows the right way to experience it. If your living like someone else let it be because you genuinely feel its the way to live. The people who love you for you will always be around, trying to impress, love and be with everyone is impossible and time consuming it is also more rewarding to have a relationship with those who fit you personally than trying to fit with someone for the sake of company, be comfortable with you.

Say anything you want, about anything (Last words)
