Parisanna: Interview

The first words that comes to your mind when you hear Inspiration, Passion, and Strength

Every day life, striving to be creative daily, and family

Who are you? (Answer how you interpret this question)

I’m goofy but serious.  I always tend to find to good in the worst situations. But most of all I’d say I was human. I make mistakes, feel joy, and heartbreak… then I write a song about it haha

Why do you do what you do?

Ever since I performed on stage for the first time and saw the audience smiling and enjoying what I what loved so much is was what made singing all worthwhile for me. It inspires me to know that one of my songs can help someone though a break up, or even bring life to a party!

When did you know this is what you wanted to do, and what events led you to choose it?

My mom said since I was born she knew that I was going to be doing this for a living. For my 8th birthday my parents got me singing lessons. I then stepped foot in my first lesson and learnt my first song “Sometimes” by Britney Spears. Ever since that day I truly fell in love with everything about music, singing, and performing.

Toughest thing you had to overcome to do what you do? And what/who helped you?

The toughest thing I had to overcome would probably be my dyslexia. Though I think It made me more creative it also made reading lyrics and memorizing things a little more challenging as a young girl. No matter now difficult times got with my disability I always told myself to keep trying and to never give up. With the help of teachers, family, and friends they encouraged me to never give up, and when this are looking glum, to always push a little harder.

Has anyone/anything ever inspired you to become who you are (to follow your dreams)? Have you ever inspired anyone directly?

My parents have always been so supportive in anything I do, especially in music. They truly believe in me, inspire me to believe in myself and have given me the confidence to pursue this dream.

One mistake that you made in your journey? How have you learnt from them?

You can never be too prepared. Always practice practice practice because it does make perfect.

Upcoming projects? Plans/goal? (about anything, if you have any)

Currently writing and recording new songs. Keep your eyes and ears open for upcoming surprises.

What advice would you give to other people? (Just about life in general - It could be about anything)

If you love it, work hard and stick with it.

Say anything you want, about anything (Last words)

This journey has been the most rewarding, upsetting, tiring, thrilling experience yet, and it’s just the beginning. But believe me when I say, I wouldn’t give it up for the world.
