The first words that comes to your mind when you hear Inspiration, Passion, and Strength

Do what you love

Who are you? (Answer how you interpret this question)

Professionally, somewhere between a life and style blogger, a creative director, a content creator, and a foodie (yes, it’s professional). Otherwise, I’m just a girl trying to figure it out.

Why do you do what you do?

I love being able to express myself creatively. I want to make a difference in the world, even if it’s just on one person

When did you know this is what you wanted to do, and what events led you to choose it?

My blog, Beauty Rewritten, is inspired by a lot of things. Originally it was a class project that I just really fell in love with, but now it’s a platform where I feel like I can just be me. Do what I love, speak my mind, and try and make a positive difference. The name itself, Beauty Rewritten, is meant to highlight more than what society considers “beautiful”. I think beauty is all around us, and inside us. So I wanted to open my eyes a little wider.

Toughest thing you had to overcome to do what you do? And what/who helped you?

I think the toughest thing to overcome is just to stop caring what other people think. We all have dreams and aspirations that we tend to put on hold because of what others will say or because it’s not the “normal” thing to do. But as long as you’re passionate and happy doing what you do, it shouldn’t matter what anyone else thinks. People that judge you don’t matter. And the people who matter won’t judge you. You’ll be surprised how much support you receive once you decide to follow your heart and kick some butt.

Has anyone/anything ever inspired you to become who you are (to follow your dreams)? Have you ever inspired anyone directly?

The first person that comes to my mind is the Professor who made us all start a website in class, haha! I think I just really needed that push to get myself moving, and once I did I never really looked back. There’s three other people who really inspire me everyday, but I think they know who they are.

One mistake that you made in your journey? How have you learnt from them?

Trying to please everyone, or trying to be something that I’m not. I leaned to just be me. Whether it’s a blog post, or a picture, or the clothes that I wear. As long as I’m comfortable with myself and as long as I’m passionate about what I do, I’m doing the right thing.

Upcoming projects? Plans/goal? (about anything, if you have any)

Some really fun collabs are coming up and some projects that I can’t quite speak about yeeeeet. You’ll just have to keep your eyes out ;) Other than that, I plan on just working hard and giving everything I do my all. We’ll see where it goes. I have some big goals to achieve.

What advice would you give to other people? (Just about life in general - It could be about anything)

You do you, boo boo. It pretty much applies to everything. As long as you’re true to yourself and believe in what you do, you can’t go wrong. The one person who believes in you the most is yourself. Be your biggest fan and love the journey.

Say anything you want, about anything (Last words)

Smile!! It’s all working out, trust me.
