The first words that comes to your mind when you hear Inspiration, Passion, and Strength

My Parents

Who are you? (Answer how you interpret this question)

a chaotic mix of wins and losses

Why do you do what you do?

The Lord gave it to me as an escape from loss and adversity

When did you know this is what you wanted to do, and what events led you to choose it?

I was 7 years old and the youngest in our school talent show. I was a b-boy doing a breakdance set. After I rocked, people were screaming my name and standing on tables. I knew right then and there on stage, I wanted to do this for the rest of my life. Plus a girl I liked started to pay attention to me.

Toughest thing you had to overcome to do what you do? And what/who helped you?

There have been too many obstacles to name. But, the toughest was the passing of my big sister. She introduced me to hiphop when I was 3. We lost her during the recording of our current project. It was the worst time in my life. The same month, my fiance left me with no warning, and my radio show of 11 years ended. My friends and family helped me to find my way and still are. God and prayer kept me from goin off the deep end completely.

Has anyone/anything ever inspired you to become who you are (to follow your dreams)? Have you ever inspired anyone directly?

My family and crew inspired me. Specially my mother and oldest sister. Ive had a lot of people in Dallas tell me over the years, that I inspired them to get into radio and tv because of the success of our wild ass radio show. Also in music, because we have gone through so much but, are still rocking. Now, my nieces and nephews are getting into music and are doing really well. One of my nieces who’s 10, is already producing and getting offers from labels.

One mistake that you made in your journey? How have you learnt from them?

The biggest one for me  has been not listening to my gut and listening to others instead. I’ve learned to listen to others for advice or direction but in the end, my gut is right more times than not. I try to apply that to every situation now.

Upcoming projects? Plans/goal? (about anything, if you have any)

The Bodega album LGA is coming soon as well as a solo project from me. Also, working on several TV and small movie projects set to come out before the end of the year.

What advice would you give to other people? (Just about life in general - It could be about anything)

Focus on the positive as much as possible and adapt as best you can to adverse situations. Pray and talk to God as much as you can and trust in him. Be like water and keep flowing.

Say anything you want, about anything (Last words)

Go Balls Deep!!!!
