The first words that comes to your mind when you hear Inspiration, Passion, and Strength

My Father, My Mother & Music. Sounds cliche, but it’s what drives me.

Who are you? (Answer how you interpret this question)

I’m kinda messed up to be honest, haha. I think all creative, driven people are. I’m happy, sad, angry and passionate about the things in my life. I love food and partying. Good karma, positive vibes and friends are important to me.

Why do you do what you do?

To make people smile. I always have said the phrase, “To change the world, not through one grand gesture, but through a thousand tiny smiles”.

When did you know this is what you wanted to do, and what events led you to choose it?

I haven’t always wanted to be a DJ. I’ve dreamed of being some sort of DJ for the last 8 years, since i was 14. But during that time, I worked in the bulk fuel trade, landscaping, cattle farms. Then I got my degree in Behavioural Psychology because I knew that people were my passion. After getting into DJing, getting a hold of decks I realized, ‘Shit’ I might just able to combine my two biggest passions in life, music and people, into one mega purpose!

Toughest thing you had to overcome to do what you do? And what/who helped you?

I mean, everybody has a sob story right? Everyone has their own struggle. Mine was my weight at one point: when I was 16, I weighed in at 320 lbs. A big boy haha. Since then, the toughest obstacle is myself. I’m extremely tough on my self, and hold myself to a higher standard than I hold others.

Has anyone/anything ever inspired you to become who you are (to follow your dreams)? Have you ever inspired anyone directly?

Again, it may sound cliche but I try and surround myself with friends that push me to be better. To grow a little bit everyday. My father & mother are my biggest inspiration…if I can ever become an 1/8 of the people they are, I’ll be fine. Finally, my Fluid Night Club crew always keeps me on my toes and have taught me a million things about spinning a tune.

One mistake that you made in your journey? How have you learnt from them?

I’ve already made a couple mistakes in my short journey and learned much from every one. I’m more than sure they’ll be more, because there’s lots to learn yet. The mistakes I’ve made have to do with poor choices, bad karma and sketchy people, ya know?

Upcoming projects? Plans/goal? (about anything, if you have any)

I currently headline at Fluid Night Club on Thursday nights and hopefully be spinning in Toronto very soon at a couple spots on Queen St.! Got a couple Deep House tunes that I’m just finishing up producing and we have big plans for Kingston this summer involving Electronic Music, so keep an eye open and an ear rasied!

What advice would you give to other people? (Just about life in general - It could be about anything)

Take it day by day, keep good karma and everything happens for a reasons. Believe it.

Say anything you want, about anything (Last words)

I wouldn’t be doing this profile…Jesus, I wouldn’t be alive right now without my friends and family. I owe everything to them.
