Eman the Heartbreak: Interview

The first words that comes to your mind when you hear Inspiration, Passion, and Strength

Definitely Chance. The kid is my age and killing it right now. Passion is my mother's love to raise myself and my 3 siblings on her own. And strength = mental preparation can get you through anything.

Who are you? (Answer how you interpret this question)

A kid that preaches that anything is possible when you free yourself from mental limitations. Aside from preaching it, I like to accomplish said tasks to show people that it can be done so they can be inspired and do something great.

Why do you do what you do?

My sole purpose for living on this planet is to show that anybody and everybody is capable of having the life they desire. I'm tired of hearing my friends say that they are just going to get a job that they hate and live the rest of their lives miserable like everyone else. That's so backwards to me. You literally only have one life and people take that for granted. I want to create music that inspires people to create music. I want to start businesses that can be franchised for low start-up prices so that people who dream of owning their own thing have that opportunity. I want to open a museum for the public so that anyone can come in at post their artworks. I want to be a mogul  for ideas that create a more progressive world so that we as people enjoy our time here because we only have so long. My goal in life is to become the physical manifestation of inspiration.

When did you know this is what you wanted to do, and what events led you to choose it?

All my life really. I knew I wanted to do something special but through experiences with family and friends, I always I knew I wanted to inspire people to live their life out because you are allowed to do that.

Toughest thing you had to overcome to do what you do? And what/who helped you?

Releasing the idea in my head that I was inferior because of a mistake I've made or from times where I struggled with my craft or from even being around people who seemed more talented than me. All of that was just distracting away from what I was capable of doing. Self-empowerment is important because the world is already going to tell you you're wrong so there's no reason you should add to that. Just convince yourself you're right and be crazy enough to think you can pull it off and you will.

Has anyone/anything ever inspired you to become who you are (to follow your dreams)? Have you ever inspired anyone directly?

High school is a time where kids are learning their identities and how to mesh with other kids etc. so it's a stage in people's lives where it's all about fitting in. Me not being the coolest guy had trouble with that. Listening to Drake really inspired me because his message was simply about being yourself at all times and having people love you for that and if they don't then they aren't important. So word to Drizzy. Thank you so much.

One mistake that you made in your journey? How have you learnt from them?

Hahaha oh too many. Not preparing for shows properly. I should  probably try to memorize my lyrics beforehand. And just not giving people a fair chance to see what I have to offer. Every performance is a chance to make a new fan so I need not play around with that.

Yes yes. I have my debut LP dropping July 21st entitled "beautiful, better" and I'm really excited about that.  I have the first single entitled #YouLoveMe dropping some time in May but before then my best friend Mike Bell and I have a song off his album that he's dropping April 23rd called "Wannabe" so get ready for that :D

Upcoming projects? Plans/goal? (about anything, if you have any)

Yes yes. I have my debut LP  entitled "beautiful, better" and I'm really excited about that.  I have the first single entitled #YouLoveMe.

What advice would you give to other people? (Just about life in general - It could be about anything)

  1. Your only sure shot in life is 100% reliance on your own abilities. That's not saying you can do it all on your own but work with others that take responsibility for themselves.
  2. Join in the laughter when people laugh at you. You never worry about the last laugh when you've been laughing the whole time.

You can't ever "win" at life. No financial reward or status will ever be truly filling to your soul because you'll always want more one way or another. Don't take life too too seriously. Have fun. Don't stress. You die anyway no matter what. Rich, poor etc. we all have the same fate. Death is a reminder to live. So live.

Say anything you want, about anything (Last words)

My name is Eman the Heartbreak and I hope to be your inspiration one day.
