The first words that comes to your mind when you hear Inspiration, Passion, and Strength

My mother. She has always been my inspiration, she is the strongest and most amazing person I know.

Who are you? (Answer how you interpret this question)

I’m reserved, but confident and motivated part time model who works as an Executive Assistant, has an industrial design degree, loves to go to the beach and has a passion for baking cupcakes.

Why do you do what you do?

Because it makes me happy. I feel good when I’m healthy and fit and take care of myself. modelling is lots of fun and is great motication to stay looking and feeling my best.

When did you know this is what you wanted to do, and what events led you to choose it?

I only gradually realized that this was what I wanted to do when I started doing bikini competitions a couple of years ago. I was determined to stay fit over winter and so I signed up for Miss Snowbunny, which is a bikini comp held in the snow. Things just kept going from there and I’ve never looked back.

Toughest thing you had to overcome to do what you do? And what/who helped you?

Rejection is the hardest thing, you are always questioning whether you’re good enough and thinking “why didn’t I get it? what do they have that I don’t” it can be really disheartening always comparing yourself to others, but the reason you don’t get a job one time may be the exact same reason that you do get the job next time. everyone has their own unique look and I had to learn to embrace that and be content with the body I was given.

Has anyone/anything ever inspired you to become who you are (to follow your dreams)? Have you ever inspired anyone directly?

Any woman who is naturally curvy and manages to stay in shape is inspirational to me. I have hips and I have thighs and I also have a very big sweet tooth, so I get my motivation from the success of other fit curvy women who work hard for their amazing bodies.

One mistake that you made in your journey? How have you learnt from them?

One mistake I made a few times was listening to negativity from people who don’t actually want to see you succeed and believing that they are only saying those things because they care about you. If people really care about you and your dreams they will support you in any way they can. I have let go of those people am so much happier without them in my life.

Upcoming projects? Plans/goal? (about anything, if you have any)

At the moment I am just branching out and trying to gain as much experience as possible shooting different styles. My ultimate goal is to go overseas and shoot internationally.

What advice would you give to other people? (Just about life in general - It could be about anything)

Don’t worry about what other people think, do what you want to do, not what other people want you to do. The ones who really care about your happiness will stick around, the ones who don’t would only have held you back

Say anything you want, about anything (Last words)
