Anthony Rubicini: Interview

The first words that comes to your mind when you hear Inspiration, Passion, and Strength

Who are you? (Answer how you interpret this question)

I am an artist and producer, nothing more nothing less.

Why do you do what you do?

For the love of making music, I want to travel to places all over the world, and I want my music to help people.

When did you know this is what you wanted to do, and what events led you to choose it?

I knew this is what I wanted to do when I started playing all ages clubs in Toronto back when I was 14 and sealed the deal at Frosh Festival at 15, now music is everything to me.

Toughest thing you had to overcome to do what you do? And what/who helped you?

The loss of an important family member, they were what bound a majority of us together; the only thing that helped me and keeping everyone together was music.

Has anyone/anything ever inspired you to become who you are (to follow your dreams)? Have you ever inspired anyone directly?

Steve Angello has always been my inspiration because of his business skills, obviously his music, and personality. I have actually believe it or not inspired many producers through my high school and through meeting people at festivals, I love motivating people to do better, I don’t like seeing my friends fail.

One mistake that you made in your journey? How have you learnt from them?

Never throw away an opportunity, take as many of them as you can because each opportunity is a step closer to your goals.

Upcoming projects? Plans/goal? (about anything, if you have any)

I have lots of music coming, my goals is to have some signed to bigger labels such as Size Records, Protocol Records, or Axtone Records, I also wish to be playing festivals within a year’s time.

What advice would you give to other people? (Just about life in general - It could be about anything)

Never give up, if what you are doing isn’t progressing look at what you’re doing from a different angle and just continue.

Say anything you want, about anything (Last words)

Much love.
