The first words that comes to your mind when you hear Inspiration, Passion, and Strength

Ingredients for happiness and success

Who are you? (Answer how you interpret this question)

I am a fashion zealot and life-lover and I strongly
believe in living everyday as though it were the weekend.
Passion drives me and my travels inspire me.

Why do you do what you do?

Because I absolutely love it. Life is too short not to be doing what you love.

When did you know this is what you wanted to do, and what events led you to choose it?

As soon as I became a Management Consultant!

Throughout my business studies and internships, I had always worked in fashion part-time but it wasn't until I completed my MBA and got a corporate job as a Management Consultant on Bay Street that I realized this couldn't be “it”. A few weeks into my role, I created my website as a creative outlet, but due to the nature of my work, I only had time for my passion on weekends (hence my website’s name).

A year later, which was six months ago, and after taking vacation from work to attend Fashion Week, I decided to leave the corporate world for good, and I haven’t looked back since! Doing what I love everyday, for myself and for a fashion magazine, sure as hell beats waiting for the business week to be over to finally do me and be me.

Toughest thing you had to overcome to do what you do? And what/who helped you?

There wasn't anything tough about leaving Management Consulting to work in Fashion full-time. Honestly, it was a very easy and clear decision…Sure I was leaving the stability, prestige, and money behind, but those aren’t things that really matter in the end.

Has anyone/anything ever inspired you to become who you are (to follow your dreams)? Have you ever inspired anyone directly?

The friends who have become my family, and my brother and sister, have always inspired me to constantly be who I am and have helped shape me into the person I have become. I wouldn’t be so bold as to say I have ever inspired anyone directly however, but then again, only time will tell.

One mistake that you made in your journey? How have you learnt from them?

I have no regrets. I feel as though every path I’ve taken has lead me to where I am now.

Upcoming projects? Plans/goal? (about anything, if you have any)

Grand plans…I just don’t know them all yet :) …and of course, more travel!

What advice would you give to other people? (Just about life in general - It could be about anything)

Life is what you make of it so do what you love and live your life to the fullest.

Say anything you want, about anything (Last words)

F*CK what other people think!
