Ajuki Webster: Interview

\\

The first words that comes to your mind when you hear Inspiration, Passion, and Strength

My parents. Although we don’t see eye to eye all the time I respect and admire both my parents so much for working so hard to ensure I have a stable and healthy lifestyle. They both came up from nothing, that’s inspiring.

Who are you? (Answer how you interpret this question)

I’m not sure yet. I’m growing everyday and learning more and more about myself as time goes by. Right now I’m hungry to be successful.

Why do you do what you do?

Absolutely everything. I would love to make music, act, write and overall entertain.

When did you know this is what you wanted to do, and what events led you to choose it?

I have nine years of acting experience under my belt which a lot of people don’t know about. I have always been outgoing and ever since I can remember I’ve enjoyed raising a little hell and making people laugh.

Toughest thing you had to overcome to do what you do? And what/who helped you?

I consider myself a confident person but I have my moments of self doubt which then translates into just not trying and not taking chances. In all honestly I can be incredibly lazy so I’m learning to channel my energy, be productive and prioritize.

Has anyone/anything ever inspired you to become who you are (to follow your dreams)? Have you ever inspired anyone directly?

You know it’s funny because I don’t think I’m “someone” yet at all, but I get an overwhelming amount of love and support from my followers and fans. Whether I’m giving advice on my tumblr or helping people to learn to be happy and confident in their own skin it’s a great feeling to know I am touching even one person’s life in a positive way.

One mistake that you made in your journey? How have you learnt from them?

Change to me is one of the most scariest things in the world. For the longest time I would do anything to avoid change, whether that was dragging out relationships, jobs, or a lifestyle in general. I’ve learned that there is no room to grow without change, and that can be emotionally and mentally tormenting. I am now more accepting of new opportunities and know that being “comfortable” isn’t always necessarily the best thing for me.

Upcoming projects? Plans/goal? (about anything, if you have any)

I am going to college in January 2016 which is a huge deal for me considering I basically dropped out of highschool due to a lack of interest and motivation.

What advice would you give to other people? (Just about life in general - It could be about anything)

Love yourself first- it is okay to be a little selfish and do what makes you happy regardless of other people’s views. Happiness comes with the acceptance of yourself and who you are as a person.

Say anything you want, about anything (Last words)

Life is full of surprises. What is meant to happen will work itself out in the end.
